We Are A Strategy Driven Agency

What is Strategy?

Strategy separates a vendor from a consultant. We are not vendors! We are strategic partners to your business!

Poor strategy, or lack thereof, could cause even the most well-funded project to self-sabotage.

This is because there’s often a strategic gap between business goals and creative execution!

A project without strategy struggles from:

Unclear Goals → Unclear Process → Many Revisions → Stress kick-in → Unresolved Problem →  Unhappy Client

Strategy bridges the gap between goals and execution which leads to:

Clear Goals → Clear Process → Fewer Revisions → Better UX and sharper Brand Voice → Elegant Solution →  Delighted Client

We integrate four key aspects of a business:

◆ Business Goals

◆ User Challenges

◆ User Experience

◆ Creative Brand Voice

This helps us delight the users and maximise gains for the business owners. This we call an “elegant” solution! An elegant solution is often the simplest solution possible!

The way we do it is by asking 4 critical questions:

◆ What is?

◆ What if?

◆ What works?

◆ What wows?

In this day and age, it’s not enough to create just the functionality; it’s mandatory to delight the end user, in order to meet the business goals. It’s not enough to solve the problem; it’s necessary to create a “wow!” And that’s what we do!

Why does this process work?

Because it’s set in the Truth, and the Truth sets you free! Another thing about the Truth is that people stumble upon it over and over again.

In 1981, an American researcher and futurist, Roy Amara, laid out some principles that validate our own experience and explain why our process works.

Principles of Future Thinking:

In business as in life, we are often dealing with uncertainties of the unforeseen future, and in such cases placing small and safe bets triumphs over the popular belief of “measure twice, cut once”.

Innovation is often the result of the ability to place small & safe bets, learning and pivoting with the aid of each new experience rather than waiting for delayed perfection.

This is what separates ‘strategy’ from ‘planning’.

Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, captures this distinction beautifully in the quote below:

“An Entrepreneur is someone who jumps off a cliff and builds a plane on the way down”

The Japanese call this ‘Kaizen’ or ‘continuous improvement’.

This was the secret behind Japan’s success in the automobile industry, amongst many others.

William Edwards Deming, an American engineer, statistician, and management consultant, called this approach the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.

PDCA was recently modernised and popularised by Eric Ries in his book “The Lean Startup”. He called it the BML (Build-Measure-Learn) Feedback Loop. The idea behind BML is the same as ours.

We can go on with many more instances where successful consultants, designers, and management experts have stumbled upon these very same Truths as us, but that wouldn’t satisfy you.

So let’s hear what our clients have to say on this…

You have the thing most businesses need, which is problem solving … What I like is your forensic approach: problem is reported, test whether it’s real, identify likely causes, fix them. And do so In the middle of the client’s night!
